Swietokrzyskie Centrum Fundacji Rozwoju Demokracji Lokalnej has been established in September 1989 to support reconstruction of the local government as the basic form of democracy. Since its institution, Foundation grew to become one of the largest non-governmental organisations in Poland and quickly developed as a network organisation, which currently constitutes of 16 regional training centres with abodes in capital cities of respective regions in Poland.

Swietokrzyskie Centre of FSLD is a regional training centre of the Foundation. Within the international co-operation, Swietokrzyskie Centre of FSLD established contact with numerous institutions and non-governmental organisations from both European Union countries and Central-Eastern European countries. The co-operation results in numerous joint initiatives, we should mention such ventures as: frequent youth exchanges, study visits, organisation of practice for volunteers, participation in international training and conferences or joint creation of projects and searching for sources of subsidies for them.

Swietokrzyskie Centre of FSLD provides many activities f.ex. youth exchanges, study visits, European Voluntary Service hosting and sending projects.
